CHITRAL: Two persons including a married woman and a teen aged boy committed suicide by jumping into the river during the last two days in Chitral.
Chitral police official told Chitral Times that In the first incident, a 16 years old boy jumped to the river Chitral in Koghuzi village.
The second incident took place in Zaini village of Upper Chitral where a young woman, mother of 5 months baby woman believed to have jumped to the river in Warijun.
Police official said she had gone missing three days ago while her shoes were found from the river bank implying that she has jumped to the river while some vilalgers had seen her going downward to the river.
Efforts are underway by the Rescue-1122 divers to retrieve the dead bodies from water but without success as the River is in high flood.
