CHITRAL; In a road accident, a senior police officer of Chitral Police inspector Sultan Baig alias Dabang died here on Tuesday afternoon at Bokhtuli village on Chitral-Garam Chashma road when the vehicle he was driving plunged into a deep ravine.
He was said to going back to his village Hinjil Karimab ad when the incident occurred while only one day ago the wedding ceremony of his eldest son had taken place.
A minor boy on board the vehicle sustained injuries and has been admitted to the DHQ hospital where his condition is said to be precarious.
Meanwhile, the body of the police officer was laid to rest in his village Hinjil with full honor and protocol after his funeral prayer was offered at the district police lines.
