Chitral: QaqLasht Festival 2018 started today in Qaqlasht Chitral. Abdul Ghani Khan alias Dul Mama and Mir Wali alias Kuragh-o-Master have inaugurated the festival. Deputy Commissioner Chitral Irshad Sodhar and all head of Departments and officials of TCKP were also present on the occasion. DC Chitral said in order to promote tourism specially adventure tourism in the region this event has been organized with the help of TCKP. Their is a lot of potential of tourism in the District which is required to be explored. DC Chitral started rock climbing personally to encourage and encouraged youth to participate in this sport.
Following events took place on day first:-
• Polo, Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Paragliding, Zip Lining, Rock climbing, Skate shooting, Tug of war.
Locals have enjoyed traditional music and dance which will continue till late night.
