KP Govt decides to help earthquake victims of Torkiye
PESHAWAR(APP): The caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan here Monday decided to help earthquake victims of Turkiye.
He directed the Chief Secretary to prepare a line of action in this regard.
The Chief Minister directed the relevant authorities to get information from Federal Government and National Disasters Management Authority (NDMA) regarding the essential items required for the earthquake victims of Turkiye.
He also directed preparation of plan of action for submission of donations in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund in connection of assistance of quake victims of the brotherly country and make contact with government employees, educational institutions and NGOs for donations.
He said people and government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were standing with the Turkish brothers and sisters in this hour of grief and difficulty and was committed to help the earthquake victims.
The Chief Minister appealed philanthropists, private organisations, government employees and other segments of the society to generously donate funds in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund established for assistance of earthquake victims of the brotherly country of Turkiye.
