Housing Deptt directed to ensure timely completion of ongoing projects. Dr. Amjad Ali
PESHAWAR (APP): Dr. Amjad Ali, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the Housing Department, stated that receiving applications from 88,000 government employees under the Housing Foundation is a welcome development.
After verification, eligible applicants will be allotted plots in various housing schemes.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held at the Civil Secretariat Peshawar regarding the current status of ongoing projects under the Housing Department and the necessary measures required. The meeting was attended by the Director General PHA, Deputy Director General PHA, Director Admin, and other relevant officials.
The meeting discussed various housing projects including CPEC City Nowshera, Rehman Baba Complex, Ehsaas Apna Ghar Project, Warsak II Housing Scheme, Jalozai, Jarma Housing Scheme Kohat, Civil Quarters Peshawar, Peshawar Valley, Mega City Nowshera, and a 3,000-kanal housing scheme in Bajaur under the partnership formula.
Dr. Amjad Ali issued directives to the Housing Department officials to accelerate the necessary measures. He said that he would personally visit the sites to assess the ongoing work. Dr. Amjad Ali emphasized that there would be no compromise on quality or quantity, and strict action would be taken against those found negligent.
