It is a reasonable question to think about. The world is developing rapidly ,the developments in the fields of Biology ,Chemistry ,Astronomy ,are at peak. Western countries are working days and nights on exploring different planets. On the other hand there are people who are wasting their precious time in no means ,this is the dilemma of our nation . Our people have free time to discuss other people ,they have mastered in advising others businesses rather than their own. People use different means nowadays, these intruders are using social media to make their presence In others personal matters.Sometimes this disruption becomes very costly in the shape of fights ,use of slung languages even abusing someone’s family etc. Chitral is also facing such a problem nowadays, through social media people firstly interfering others personal matters and at the same time they are passing comments and abusing each other while they have no concern on that particular issue. Once Chitral was famous for hospitality ,peace and brotherhood. people were morally rich and educated .
Now its time to grow up and need to come out from our shells where we have no other works other than discussing people. We should use our expertise in good things, beneficial for whole region of Chitral, we have much big problems to discuss .we should use social media for good sake there are a long list of regional problems that are negotiable on social media. The major problem we have nowadays is the security of Chitrali students studying out of town like “Peshawar Islamabad, Karachi ” and other big cities as well.Another major problem we are facing is transportation the condition of transport is miserable .There are some many things under discussions and we need to discus these things through social media that the authorities take actions.
The purpose of social media is not only communication and disrupting others personal matters they are so many other beneficial uses. This is our ill fortune that we are unaware of those benefits or we don’t even tried our best to utilize those for good sake .we should build our mentality for prosperity of our society and its our religious responsibility as well that we should use our resources for the betterment of our society and be a good citizen.
Islam has always stood for communities living in harmony and for Muslims to exemplify the highest standards of care and concern toward others. One of the most emphasized of all the prophet’s teaching was being good to people .”A person is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbor is hungry”. “The best of neighbor in the sight of God is the best toward his (or her) neighbor.”
Being a Muslim and being a part of such a society which is the ambassador of peace it is our responsibility that we should try our best to be gentle toward each others.
