CHITRAL: A row between Lower Chitral deputy commissioner Naveed Ahmed and local MPA Maulana Hedayatur Rehman was resolved amicably on Sunday when the latter tendered his apology and regretted for the impolite remakrs he used against the former.
In the presence of Malakand division commissioner Riaz Mehsud, the deputy commissioner said he held in high esteem all the elected representatives of Chitral.
Mr Mehsud said in the coming days a better working relationship would be established between the MPA and the district administration to resolve the problems of Chitral people. The MPA and the DC had exchanged hot words over telephone which had also gone viral on social media.
