CHITRAL: The body of Ubaidullah, the son of the PTCL employee, was recovered from the mass of snow avalanche in Matti Khor area of Lowari Pass here on Wednesday afternoon after a hectic search of five days.
The PTCL employee Anwaruddin and his son Ubaidullah had been buried under the snow mass five year ago while ascending the snow-clad Lowari Pass to its top in order to repair a telephone tower.
Station house officer of Ashurate police station, Abdul Muzaffar Khan told Chitral Times that body of the son was found at a place far from that of his father and with its recovery the search operation came to an end in which police, Rescue 1122, Chitral Scouts and local volunteers took part.
