On 16 Dec 2016, I was attending economics class, meanwhile, the ringing of bell start echoing in the class. Our lecturer attended the call and said Alas! When?. We start panicking. I was new in the city. I used to watch the news with my family mostly having the headlines of “Breaking news, Another blast”. We start predicting in our own way that what has happened. then our teacher left the class. I went to my hostel. I saw everyone contacting their beloved ones, yet I was confused. One of my dear friends calls her aunt to know about her little cousin. I asked what happened? Then I came to know that a tragedy eventuate.
That day, we all rushed to our homes. institutions were notified to remain close due to security threats. The sound of the siren was bellowing in the city. We reached warsak road, where the APS incident Transpired. I saw the patrol police, the yellow tape around the road, the ambulances, the broken parents and the little coffins.
I witnessed the most Heart-wrenching state of my life. I used to cry day and night for the Brave mothers, for their unbearable loss. Some of them have lost more than one kid.
Those mothers telling the stories of their martyred children have given a heart attack to me. Life is so unpredictable. We don’t know what is going to happen in the next second. a mother wakes up early to make ready her strength to provide every essential for Her Future hope. Prepares breakfast, press uniforms, makes up the bag and waits for the bus until she safely give to the security person to ensure protectivity.
The first ever school atrocious massacre Happened in bath school, bath town, Michigan on May 18, 1927, where 38 elementary school children and 6 adults were killed and injured more than 58. Till now, The brutal killing is Occurring and Pakistan suffered more than one times. we can’t forget the bacha khan massacre too. The APS Attack killed 149 and 114 got injured. There are so many brave stories behind the martyrs. Some of them died while helping other to escape. This incident psychologically effected all of the people around the world. nonetheless, time is the best healer. Some of the parents were not ready to send back their children, some of the kids were afraid of being killed. The survived kids and their families suffered from Post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and other psychological disorders. The government took action and form Rehabilitation centers to make them able to get into life again. No evil power can stop a nation to grow prosperously until and unless Their is courage. We are remembering on this black day Hero of the nation, Atizaz Ahsan, who devoted his life to protect Hundred of Students.
We certainly, cannot bring them back but on this day, we Promise not to lose courage and we will face every situation with the bravery to make Pakistan prosperous and proud, InshaALLAH. Our sympathies are with the effected families.May the Angels rest in eternal peace.
