All people trapped in dangling cable car rescued
BATAGRAM (APP): All the seven schools children and a teacher were safely rescued from a cable car that have been dangling mid air on a rivine at Tehsil Alai here.
Despite night and windy weather at Tahsil Alai, the rescue operation has been successfully completed by the army SSG, PAF rescue teams, rescuing all trapped children from a cable car that was dangling mid air on 6000 feet height on a ravine.
Army aviation, SSG commandos and others promptly act after report of the incident this morning and completed the challenging task.
” The armed forces of Pakistan have successfully completed the most difficult and challenging Batagram rescue operation and rescued all people who were trapped in a cable car on 600 feet height,” said an ISPR update.
According to ISPR, the rescue operation was led by General Officer Commonding Special Services Group (SSG) of Pakistan Army. The sling team of SSG has safely rescued all the trapped people from the cable car and shifted them to safer places.
On the directives of Army Chief, the Army Aviation and SSG teams started the Rescue operation swiftly. Later, the sling team of SSG and Pakistan Air Force helicopter also participated.
The army aviation provided technical support to the sling team of SSG that helped in completion of the operation.

The services of local cable experts were also hired while locals and civil administration actively participated.
The operation was very difficult and highly challenging. It was completely successfully by the SSG sling team, PAF, local administration and cable experts.
In every difficult situation, Pakistan armed forces were standing with the people of Pakistan and will always stand with them in future.
Police persons including seven school children and a teacher traveling in the ill fated cable car were dangling mid-air after cable of a gondola broke at Allai Tehsil of Batagram district at a height of 6,000 feet passing on a ravine.
