Launching an exemplary investment in the history of Upper Chitral: Era of Development!

It is a great pleasure and bunce for us that recently a prominent capitalist and international investor Mr. Anwar Aman has purchased a large area of land in Soran Lasht adjacent to Charun and Kuragh in Union Council Charun Upper Chitral for investment to develop Chitrali people. Although I have neither personally any access with him nor contact his any special envoy, however, we are listening to good news from elites of our locality who met him on various occasions say that he has decided to invest his vast capital here for mega projects. Before that, we have not seen any precedent of such investment in the history of Upper Chitral. It has been observed that mostly capitalists from Pakistan carry their capital to Western countries for investment to earn more profits by using legal or illegal means but Mr. Aman is a single personality in the history of our country who brought his capital from abroad to Pakistan. This is the testimony of his patriotism and his great contribution to Pakistan will be remembered in golden words forever. It will be not an exaggeration to say that like him great people born once in centuries who feel joy over serving humanity and they consider it mandatory for themselves.
We are convinced that all these megaprojects will not only help us in boosting our national economy but also be fruitful in overcoming unemployment in the area. Since the purchase of this land, major sources of income and a large number of employments are knocking at our doors. Above all being an international citizen he adopted membership in our village and his presence in the area is pleasant and we welcome him to be among us. We hope that he will play a vital role not only in the development of village council Charun but he extends his contribution to the whole district.
We are also delighted to hear that along with some mega projects his intention to establish an institution for human development in Solan Lasht falling in Union Council Charun Upper Chitral is the most pleasant decision. All these projects including an institution for human development are auspice for the area and will put a far-flung effect on its development. For this larger-than-life deed, we pay our gratitude to him and pray May Allah bless him long life and happiness and succeed him in his noble mission. To make the area accessible Mr. Aman and his team are working on different options to construct jeep able road from the most suitable side for it which is very essential for the development of the area and then other developmental works to be started.
Side by side this land there is a vast area of lands possessed by other people in Soran Lasht and they will be valuable shortly when suggested mega projects start and a link road to be constructed for connectivity of it with other places of the district. In my opinion, this area is the most suitable for residential houses. Under the same purpose, colonies will be constructed very soon because it is safe from all kinds of natural calamities. Overnight a model village full of all basic facilities can be inhabited here. In this regards the residents of the area will earn a huge amount as an income by providing their houses on rent. Because district headquarter of Upper Chitral falls in few kilometers away from here. Similarly, two-degree colleges’ one Government Degree College for boys and the other Government Degree College for girls’ one Vocational Centre for women are situated from 6 to 7-kilo meter away from here while Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Kuragh is situated within walking distance.
We cannot condonation from this fact too that these megaprojects will not give benefits to the owner immediately but these projects may take longer time and he also knows it better. Because he is a well-experienced person and knows very well where and how to invest the capital. I think maybe these projects will return profits to him at least in twenty years perhaps the project under construction in lower Chitral give profit in coming ten years. Besides these, the owner’s decision to invest a huge amount in the area indicates how he loves his native land and its people?
In this perspective when we see the owner preferred the development and prosperity of the Chitrali people by leaving his benefits behind. Here it is clear that earning profit is not his prime objective. If it is his objective he easily invests his capital in any advanced city of any advanced country and earns as he likes. From this, we can conclude that his core objective is to serve humanity especially to develop the Chitrali people. Factual evidence of his generosity is that a large number of people attached with his various projects in the country as well as abroad are earning their income and sustained their families.
We appreciate him for his excellent jobs generally in Pakistan and particularly in Upper Chitral as well as in lower Chitral for both mega projects. These projects will change the destiny of Chitral and its people within a short time. In lower Chitral, his mega project is already in progress and despite having in the initial stage it giving multiple dimensional benefits to every walk of life. Although I do have no expertise despite it I expect the following outcomes from these projects in near future. These projects will change our unskilled laborers into skilled and productive laborers. These projects can help us to access new technology in many fields and they can be replicated in other areas of Chitral to make the same fields productive. These projects also play their role in introducing some unique Chitrali products in the international market, where they will be sold at a high price. I also believe that these projects make transportation easy for us. Insha Allah these megaprojects will further increase in beauteousness of Chitral and help us in advancing tourism in the country. As a result, our local economy, as well as national income, will be increased through which we can enhance our per capita income.
On another hand when we analysis contributions rendered by him in various fields we find that he does not help people only but also create ease to various governments in terms of employment given to the various category of people, building infrastructures and establishment of different institutions for human development throughout the world.
