    PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan visits Buner, announces Medical College for the district.

    Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf will come into power in the whole of the country including Sindh and Balochistan in the upcoming general elections on the basis of its performance and public friendly policies.

    “Prime Minister Imran Khan is the only leader who is always thinking and working for the bright future of the upcoming generations instead of winning elections and he always urged upon his team to work for the wellbeing of common men”, and added that in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the incumbent provincial government was taking pragmatic steps for the welfare of the poor segment of society. He further said that Sehat Card scheme and Kisan Card scheme were a couple of those initiatives launched by the provincial government for the welfare of common men. Besides, the provincial government was also going to introduce Food Card scheme in order to provide free of cost rashan to the poor and deserving people at their door step.

    He further said that the provincial government had also planned an Education Card Scheme through which deserving and talented students would be provided with financial assistance for education purposes.

    He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering during his visit to district Buner here on Sunday. Federal Minister Murad Saeed, Special Assistant to CM Riaz Khan and other elected representatives from Buner were also present.

    A noted political personality and District President of PML-N Sarzameen Khan and a candidate for National Assembly in last general elections, Kamran Khan formally joined Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf alongwith their nears and dears. The chief minister on the occasion announced establishment of Medical College in Buner, upgradation of Totalai Hospital and multiple projects of roads for district Buner. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that a group of politically unemployed people in the name of PDM had gathered against the government but the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa especially Malakand region had rejected them outright adding that people of the province will reject them in the upcoming general elections as well.

    Mahmood Khan termed district Burner as his second home and said that he would go all out for the development and prosperity of Buner and would take all possible steps to bring this district at par with other developed districts of the province. He further said that the current wave of inflation in the country was due to the wrong economic policies of previous governments and added that the incumbent government was going all out to put economy on the right track and control inflation.

    Addressing the gathering, Federal Minister Murad Saeed highlighted the policies and initiatives of the incumbent government and said that the construction of 10 large dams had been initiated, a Kamyab Jawan Program worth Rs. 100 billion had also been launched while a program named Kamyab Pakistan Program would be launched soon.
