Two weeks long Free Mammography camp concluded
CHITRAL: Free mammography of as 523 women above the age of 40 years was carried out in both the districts of Lower and Upper Chitral in free medical camps held in four different places.
Arranged by the Lahore-based Cancer Care Hospital, the camps were held in DHQ hospital Chitral, THQ hospitals Booni, Drosh and Garam Chashma which continued for more than two weeks starting from 26th July.
The final day of the free screening camp was exclusively for the Kalash women in THQ hospital Drosh in which women from all the three valleys in large number.
The free mammography camp had been jointly arranged by Miss Nighat, a US-based philanthropist who originally hailed from Lot Koh valley of Chitral. (Dawn)
