PESHAWAR: Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), Professor Dr. Qibla Ayaz while addressing a two-day webinar on Pre and Post Corona Lockdown Times collaboratively organized by the Pakistan Development Foundation (PDF) and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University said that youth can play vital role in spreading awareness against corona virus. He urged the youth to take this charge just like they are active in other positive activities that deal with development of Pakistan. He added that our youth has never disappointed us. Ayaz added that corona was a very challenging situation, it could have led us severe loss but owing to selfless dedication and hard work of the President of Pakistan, Arif Alvi and the Prime Minister, Imran Khan we got success in having control over the situation. He said that the government was in contact with the CII to discuss ways to control corona virus. He furthered that corona has not been completely vanished as yet and therefore, the public to consider SOPs thoroughly by taking preventive measures. He cleared that during meetings, our aim is to convey feelings to each other which could be done in so many other ways besides shaking hands and physically touching each other.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Pakistan Development Foundation (PDF), Muhammad Bilal Sethi and Vice Chancellor SBBWU, Razia Sultana were also present. Dr Qibla Ayaz appreciated this initiative and called for all universities to spread awareness against the COVID-19 with the help of young students. He appreciated the PDF and especially its Chairman, Muhammad Bilal Sethi for keeping youth engaged in positive activities. He urged youth to come in contact with such organizations for a better Pakistan. On this occasion, Chairman of the PDF, Muhammad Bilal Sethi remarked that any challenge could be achieved provided we dive into the ocean of hard work.
