Will the Taliban’s rule survive!
Violent extremism is no longer used to curb modernist ideology. Those who follow the former, never compete and will perish out from the world map. Albeit, the resurgent Taliban have taken over more territory in Afghanistan and will capture the whole country soon. But the Taliban’s rule will not stand in the long run because of certain reasons.
The Taliban have always preferred the use of military power over diplomacy. As the latter has remained the best policy to solve any prolonged issue. Use of violent force will further deteriorate the already spoiled situation.
To compete in a global world, a well orchestrated foreign policy is considered an utmost priority. The Talibans will never enjoy that zeal of foreign relation with global powers. As they have been considered a threat by the global community. Consequently, they will fail to keep a balance relation with global powers.
Another major issue for the Taliban’s rule is a ‘Global Recognition. To get global recognition a nation must has to fulfill certain global requirements. Unfortunately because of their extremist approach, it become difficult for the Talibans to get global recognition. This will further create hurdles for them. It’s direct impact will be on their foreign policy.
Violation of human rights can badly degrade a country’s image in an international forum. The people of Afghanistan, specially the women will become the victim of human rights violation under the Taliban’s rule. The imposement of strict laws will result an uprising of the people against the Talibans. This uprising and violation of human rights will further weaken their government and directly effect the global support.
As the country has been remained in a state of chaos for almost four decades. This war-torn country direly needs an economic support to uplift the condition of it’s downtrodden people. For this, a good relation with global economic powers will be a game changer for the country. Because of the above mentioned issues, the Taliban’ rule will never get the global economic support to boost up its economy. Consequently, the country will face many problems, including an exacerbate in poverty rate, unemployment, illiteracy, crimes and so on…
To put it in a nutshell, without fulfilling the global demands, the Taliban’s rule shall not prosper.
