CHITRAL: The elites of Sheshi Koh valley Haji Anzar Gul, Haji Sher Muhammad Khan, Maulana Saifullah, Abdul Quddus and others have criticized the government for the anomalies in  the appointment of class-IV employees in the district in which favoritism and bribe were allegedly  used instead of merit.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, they said that a resident of Bumburate village from Ayun union had been appointed on class-IV post in civil dispensary of Kalas in Sheshi Koh union council and it was a flagrant example of injustice with the people of the valley.

They questioned that out of 22000 souls of Sheshi Koh, was there not a single person fit to be appointed as class-IV employee in their own valley and warned that they will not let the non-local person to serve in their village.

They also criticized the government for ignoring the Sheshi Koh valley in the appointment of forest guard in the Forest department in which nine posts had been allocated to  Arandu area on the basis of its forested area.

They said that the forest of Sheshi Koh was the largest of all forests in the district but no it was not allocated any reserved quota in the recruitment of forest guards which was another instance of injustice with this valley.

They warned that the local people fully guarded the forests and save it from being cut illegally for which they were being punished by denying them reserved quota in employment in forest department.
