CHITRAL: To ensure fool-proof security system to the foreigners working in different development projects in the district, special security audit of the sites was carried out by the senior police officers as a result of which loopholes were idenfied for rectifications.
The audit process also included mock operations in the sites to test the level of preparation of the force and the steadfastness of the security apparatus while the overall situation was declared to be upto the mark.
The district police officer Muhammad Furqan Bilal told the media that although Chitral was ideally peaceful but cannot ignore its security with particular reference to the foreigners and the district police is always red alert to combat any eventuality and the security audit was part of it.
He said that the anti-riot force has also been reinvigorated to disperse the public uprisings peacefully by using modern techniques and approaches of mob dispersal thereby keep the law and order situation under control.
