    Special Boeing-777 aircraft will leave for Saudi Arabia to bring stranded people and dead bodies who lost their lives on corona pandemic

    PESHAWAR:Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has said that a special Boeing-777 aircraft will leave for Saudi Arabia tomorrow to bring the dead bodies of those overseas who lost their lives over their due to corona pandemic adding that two more flights of Boeing-777 will leave for Saudi Arabia for the purpose in the coming few days. The Chief Minister has said that overseas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stranded in the gulf countries are faced with a lot of difficulties due the corona pandemic and added that efforts are being made at all levels to resolve their problems on priority basis and to ensure their early return to their homeland.

    In his statement issued here Mahmood Khan said that on his special request, the Prime Minister Imran Khan had issued directives to the quarters concerned to restore flights from Saudi Arabia to Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar in order to facilitate the return of the overseas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; and flights from Saudi Arab to Peshawar have formally resumed whereas the number of the flights would be increased in coming days. He termed the safe and timely return of the overseas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stranded abroad as one of his top priority and said that if required, the provincial government is ready to provide necessary funds from its own kitty and to make all the necessary arrangements at Peshawar Airport to facilitate the safe return of these overseas to their homeland. “The issue of costly air tickets of overseas and their complaints related to Pakistani Embassy at Riyadh have also been take up with the relevant authorities at federal level and both the issues would be resolved very soon”; the Chief Minister stated and expressed his gratitude for Prime Minister Imran Khan, Federal Minister Muraad Saeed, Special Assistant to Prime Minister, Zulfi Bukhari and Advisor to Prime Minister Mueed Yousaf for their personal interest in resolving the issue of the overseas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stranded in the gulf countries.
