CHITRAL: The special assistant to chief minister, Wazir Zada who also holds the chairmanship of district development advisory committee (DDAC) of Chitral, has asked the government officers to ensure transparency and efficiency in their day to day affairs as the PTI government was totally averse to corruption and indolence.
Addressing the DDAC coordination meeting here on Thursday, he reiterated that he will not compromise on quality and quantity of development works executed by different departments and as public representative he will make sure to visit hundred percent work sites to check it for himself.
He asked the officers to keep a vigilant eye on the progress of their respective departments to ensure utmost level of service to the public so that they could discern the change between the past governments and the incumbent one.
Mr. Wazir Zada said that Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Project was not only a mass plantation drive but it was synonymous to a positive thinking in every walks of life and it was due to this reason that now every official of the forest department is concerned with saving each and every tree of the forest which was the ultimate vision of Imran Khan.
He asked the officers to pinpoint the requirements of the development projects based on proper documentation so that they could be included in the forthcoming budget proposals.
