CHITRAL: AlKhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Friday held a function on the eve of Independence Day in Commerce College Chitral here at Chitral.
The event was held on the occasion of Independence Day in recognition of the outstanding services rendered by doctors, medical staff, AlKhidmat volunteers and personnel of various departments for four consecutive months during COVID-19 in Lower Chitral.
On the occasion, the AlKhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Khalid Waqas and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitral distributed shields among the health staff and volunteers for serving the humanity during Corona pandemic.
The Chitral district president of AlKhidmat Naveed Baig, Haji Sibghatullah and other officials and dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention that on the occasion commemorative shields were distributed among more than 150 volunteers.
