PTI workers denies withdraw from NA -1 for APML Candidate

    By Zahiruddin

CHITRAL: The local leaders of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Aminur Rahman, Allauddin Urfi, Nabeg Kalash advocate, Raheemullah advocate, Wazirzada Kalash and others have asked the president of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Dr. Muhammad Amjad to tender unconditional apology for releasing false statement in the media in which he had claimed that PTI’s candidate for NA-1 was going to withdraw in his favour on the behest of Imran Khan.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, they said that nothing such had happened in the meeting with their party chief as Dr. Amjad had unconditionally withdrawn in the favour of the PTI candidates in NA-53 and NA-54 in which he had no strength at all leading to forfeiture of his security.

Terming the press statement of APML leader as malicious, concocted, mala fide and misleading, they said that the PTI candidate Abdul Latif was in a winning position with thumping majority and there was no remote possibility of his withdrawal in favour of Dr. Amjad in lieu of Islamabad seats.

The PTI leaders said that due to the rumors propagated by the controversial statement, the ranks and files of the PTI have been rendered prone to be disarrayed in the nooks and corners of the district while it will be difficult task for the party leadership to clear the news in distant valleys of the district before elections are held.

Giving a deadline of twenty four hours to the APML leader for clearing the news by issuing another statement negating his earlier one, failing which legal action will be taken against him under the relevant section of Pakistan Penal Code.
