ISLAMABAD: NAB started investigation in embezzlement in clean drinking water for all project and arrested accused Mr. Muhammad Ramzan Sheikh Ideal Hydro Tech System Pakistan. The accused submitted application for Plea Bargain and agreed to return the embezzled amount through Plea Bargain. The application was recommended by Chairman NAB to the accountability court Peshawar.
The accused was presented before Accountability Court for the approval of the Plea Bargain. The Hon’able Accountability Court, Peshawar approved the said Plea Bargain.
Director General NAB, KP Farman Ullah Khan pledged the bureau was following the zero-tolerance policy to eliminate corruption from the country. He said that NAB would continue its endeavors to eradicate corruption by adopting “Accountability for All” policy against the corrupt and would bring them to justice as per law by using all its resources within stipulated time frame from complaints to filing of corruption references in the respective accountability courts.
