PESHAWAR: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) held its meeting under the Chairmanship of Mr. Atif Rehman, the Additional Chief Secretary/Secretary P&D Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 10th December, 2019. The meeting was attended by members of PDWP and concerned departments. The forum considered 16 projects pertaining to different
sectors including Home, Multi-sectoral Development, Relief & Rehabilitation, Small Dams, Roads & Bridges and DWSS sectors for the uplift of the province. The forum approved 16 Projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 15390.826 million.

Establishment of PPP Support Unit in P&D Department and Provision for Contractors Decretal accrued Liabilities, Land
Compensation and Uncashed Cheques SH: Restoration of flood damages road in District Chitral (Chitral Booni Road).
Approved projects of Relief & Rehabilitation sector were:
Establishment of Emergency Rescue Services (Rescue 1122) in District Swat, Establishment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122) and in District Lower Dir, Enhancement Capacity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122) and Economic Revitalization of District North Waziristan “compensation for
business lost”.

Gandao Small Dam, Mohmand Agency
Approved projects of Roads & Bridges sector were:
F/S, Design and Construction & Supervision of bypass road from Ayub Bridge Havellian (N-35) to Dhamtour at Abbotabad (18.325 Km) (Rev), Improvement and widening of Suraj Gali Hattar road (6.50 kms), District Haripur,
Strengthening of East-West Connectivity of Merged Areas with settled Districts & Important Links SH: PC-II for F/S Design of Alternate Frontier Road from Indus Highway (N-55) to Jamrud Tribal District Khyber”.,
Design & Construction of Road Toormor Lodhi Post (4.283 km) & Spina Soka Post(1.125 km) in District Khyber and
Construction of road at Ghar Kalay (Shuhada Road) Mitha Khel, District Karak.
Approved projects of DWSS sector were:
Rehabilitation, Extension & Solarization of Existing PHE Facilities in District Mohmand,
Construction of Water Supply & Sanitation Schemes in Tehsil Bakka Khel and adjoining areas District Bannu and
Water Supply & Sanitation Schemes in UC Shawar, Biha, Gwalarai, Arkot, Purkalay, Koza Bandai, Bara Bandai, village council Labat & Shalband in PK-08 District Swat.
