    PDWP approved 12 projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 24357.777 million

    PESHAWAR: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) held its meeting under  the Chairmanship of  Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash, the Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 8th May, 2019. The meeting was attended by members of PDWP, representatives of Planning Commission, concerned departments and Tribal Districts. The forum considered 12 projects pertaining to different sectors including Energy & Power,  Higher Education, Elementary & Secondary Education, Buildings and Urban  Development sectors for the uplift of the province. The forum approved  12 Projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 24357.777 million.

    Approved projects of Energy & Power sector were “Construction of 132 Kv Grid Station, Northern Mohmand At Khwazai/Baizai  In Out From 132kv Grid  Station Ghallani & 27 Km (Ghallani – Northern Mohmand T/Line), Up-gradation of 66 KV grid station Kalaya to 132 KV, Orakzai Tribal  District, Up-gradation of 66 KV grid station Ghiljo to 132 KV Orakzai Tribal District, Up gradation of 66 KV station Alizai to 132 KV Kurram  District, Up gradation of 66 KV station Sadda to 132 KV Kurrm District,
    Providing New/bi-furcation/reconductoring of 11 KV Feeder in North  Waziristan, South Waziristan Bannu, Lakki & Tank & DIKhan, Providing  new/bi-furcation/reconductoring of 11 KV Feeder in Tribal Districts Kurram, Orakzai TSD Darra & Sub Division Hssan Khel Peshawar, Providing  New/Bi-furcation/ Reconductoring of 11 KV Feeder in Tribal Bajaur, Mohmand & Khyber”.
    Approved project of Higher Education sector was “F/S and provision for  Up-gradation of UET Sub Campus Mardan to the level of University”.

    Approved projects of Elementary & Secondary Education sector was  “Chinese Grant for construction of Schools in Bara District Khyber”.
    Approved project of Building sector was “Construction / Rehabilitation of Office / Residential Accommodation for FATA Employees in Tribal Districts”.
    Approved project of Urban Development sector was “District Uplift & Beautification Scheme”.
