Operation Azm-e-Istehkam to energize IBO sans population displacement: PMLN leader
SWABI (APP): Terming the government decision about operation Azm-e-Istehkam is right in the prevailing geo- security environment in the region, Pakistan Muslim League Swabi President, Haji Sheraz Akram Bacha here Thursday said that it would help energize intelligence based operations without displacement of the population.
He said the operation would completely eradicate remnants of terrorism and extremism besides make significant positive impact on the country’s security.
Talking to APP, Haji Sheraz Akram Bacha maontained that the operation would be based on intelligence information and ensured that only those elements involved in terrorism, violence and extremism would be targeted.
He said that terrorism and extremism have negatively impacted the country’s economic and development progress besides affected investment.
Sheraz Akram Bacha said that criticism against operation Azm e Istekam was tantamount of supporting terrorism and extremism.
He praised the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and its allied parties for their concrete measures towards eradication of terrorism and extremism. He said then Nawaz Sharif Govt had restored peace in Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa besides rest of the country.
He said the PML-N and its allied parties have taken effective measures to reduce inflation, price hike and preventing the country from an imminent economic default.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, he said the coalition government started implementing revolutionary projects announced in budget for economic stability and progress of Pakistan.
Sheraz Bacha expressed optimism that these efforts would further reduce price hike and inflation in the country besides bring real positive change to the lives of poor people.
