PESHAWAR: NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested accusedQazi Muhammad Anwar, Owner of Qazi Trade Centre, Peshawar involved in cheating public at large,fleecing innocent people of Millions of rupees.
As per details, the accused Qazi Muhammad Anwar and others in the garb of fake construction business of Qazi Trade Centre, with malafide intentions collected money from innocent people on the promise to handover to them their respective developed expensive shops in Qazi Trade Centre Plaza situated on Ring Road near Pashta Khara Chowk Peshawar. The accused persons advertised the project widely to attractinvestment in the business without having ownership of the land identified for the plaza nor having NOC from Peshawar Development Authority (PDA).Due to prime location of the plaza, scores of innocent people invested millions of rupees with the accused. At the end the accused persons neither handed over possession of the shops nor return back their deposited amount.
The accused person will be produced before the Accountability Court Peshawar for obtaining his physical remand into NAB custody.
In order to promote the vision of Honorable Chairman NAB Justice Javed Iqbal vis-à-vis to provide relief to general public through Accountability Regime, apart from above cross the board accountability of all and sundry, NAB (KP) is actively pursuing cheating public at large cases. The Bureau requests the general public to be wary of such fake business.
