ISLAMABAD: The Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan has signed an MOU with the National Institute of Banking and Finance for the implementation of the National Financial Literacy Programme for Youth in AKES,P schools.

The Financial Literacy Programme has been developed in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan and aims to impart essential financial education to school-going children and youth to strengthen their money management skills, enhance their understanding of financial matters, and educate them about their rights and responsibilities as consumers of financial services and products.

The MOU was signed by Managing Director NIBAF, Mr. Riaz Nazar Ali Chunara, and Head of Education for AKES,P, Mr. Aien Shah. CEO of the Aga Khan Foundation, Pakistan, Mr. Akhtar Iqbal, Director Research and Development, Mr. Irshad Abbasi, Director Education for AKF (Pak) Dr. Sughra Chaudhary Khan, and Head of Knowledge, Communications and M&E, Mr. Rahatullah Baig, attended the event.
