CHITRAL: Kashmir solidarity day was held here on Tuesday with a renewed pledge to lend all possible support to the Kashmiri freedom movement to rid the valley of the suppression of India.
A procession was taken out from Chew Bridge which converted into a meeting at old PIA chowk addressed by the leaders of the party including MNA from Chitral Maulana Abduol Akbar Chitrali, amir of JI Maulana Jamshed Ahmed, and Maulana Israruddin Al-Hilal.
They regretted that the rulers of the country betrayed the sacrifices of the thousands of the martyrs who laid their lives for integration of the territory with Pakistan and adopted apologetic stand on the issue.
They said that at this critical juncture of time, the freedom fighters of Kashmir need unflinching support in all forms from Pakistan.
