CHITRAL: A day-long Kalash festival known as “Uchaw” was held in all three valleys of the Kalash , Buburait, Rumbur and Birir.
The festival is essentially a thanksgiving ceremony in which people express gratitude to god for providing fruits, milk and grains.
Lots of local and international tourists have participated and witnessed this spectacular event which is celebrated by the Kalash people from centuries.
