KURAGH: The Aga Khan University Examination Board Karachi has announced result of Annual Examination for Academic Year 2017-18. 119 students of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Kuragh, Chitral from SSC level and 73 students from HSSC level have appeared in the examination held in May 2018. 99 percent of SSC Part I; 100 percent of SSCPart II; and 100 percent of HSSC Part I and II have passed the examination.
At SSC level, out of 78 students, 64 got A+ and A grades. Anara Tania Hussain daughter of GulHussain of SSCI stood first with 92.9 percent while she also became Subject High Achiever of AKU-EB with 100 percent marks in Biology.
Alvina Muhammad Khan daughter of Muhammad Khan grabbed second position with 91.8 percent, and Aalia Farah Ghaffar daughter of Abdul Ghaffar got third position obtaining 91.3 percent in. Thus the average ratio of academic excellence was 86 percent.
In SSC-II, 37 out of 41 students got A+ and A. NaziaMehwish daughter of Haji Khan got first position with 88.3 percent marks, Ajma Siddiqui daughter of SadiqurRahman got second position with 88 percent, while TehsinurRahman daughter of HamidurRahman got third position with 87.6 percent marks. Thus average academic standard of SSC II remained 88 percent.
In HSSC I, 25 students out of 31 students got A+ and A grade. Bashira Saeed daughter of Saeedullahgained first position with 89.8 percent marks; Humaira Rahim daughter of Rahimullah stood second by obtaining 86.6 percent; and Faryal Nayab daughter of GulNayab Khan grabbed third position with 86 percent marks. The averageratio of academic standard remained 80 percent.
In HSSC II, 30 out of 42 students passed the examination in grade A+ and A. Hira Naz daughter of Gul Ajab Khan stood first. She obtained 88.4 percent. Nusrat Jahan daughter of Abdul Murad got second position with 85 percent, and Wasima Naz daughter of Farman Ali got third position. She got 84.6 percent marks. The average educational standard of this class remained 83 percent.
