CHITRAL: In the free medical camp held in the marginalized village of Ashrait in Southern most part of Chitral under the aegis of Chitral Task Force, 461 persons including men, women and children were examined by the doctors and free medicines were provided.
A team of the doctors of the force and civil doctors hired for the occasion thoroughly examined the patients out of them a large number were suffering from serious types of illness in the absence of healthcare facilities in the area due to the failure of the government to provide them with any.
The commandant of Chitral Task Force, colonel Moeenuddin visited the medical camp and also met the villagers to enquire about their problems and free ration was also distributed among the poor on this occasion.
