CHITRAL; The commandant of Chitral Task Force colonel Moeenuddin has said that some of the elements involved in the blasting of a government-run school in Arandu have identified who will be arrested soon while classes will restart in the school within next 48 hours in make-shift rooms.
Flanked by Chitral DC Khurshid Alam and DPO Furqan Bilal, he said that the elements, whether they had came from the Afghan area or they were locals, in both the cases, they will not escape from the clutches of the law and will punished severely.
He warned that no person should make the folly of carrying out saboteur activities in the land of Chitral as they will never succeed in their nefarious activities in the presence of our forces who are ever vigilant to check them effectively.
He said that extra measures were being taken to contain such incidents in future in our areas bordering the Afghan areas.
He said that classes will be restarted in the affected school in make-shift rooms while work on the reconstruction of the school will be started within a week time.
To a question, he said that at this stage, the identity of the elements involved in the saboteur activity cannot be divulged for security reason.
Earlier, the general officer commanding of Malakand, Major General Khalid Saeed also visited Arandu and held a meeting in Damil with the officers of security forces and issued instructions to check such events in future.
