Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral announced 20% discount on hotel stay for tourists traveling with Pakistan International Airlines

CHITRAL: To promote tourism and economic development, Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral, Muhammad Imran Khan recently visited Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) office along with ADC Finance and Planning Anwar Akbar Khan.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner met the PIA staff and reviewed the facilities available at the airport. The PIA staff gave a detailed briefing on the airline’s operations including flight schedule, passenger amenities and cargo services. The Deputy Commissioner assured the PIA of all possible support from the district administration.
As a result of Deputy Commissioner’s efforts, tourists traveling with PIA will now get 20% discount on accommodation in all A-grade hotels in Chitral. This discount will be applicable to all tourists traveling to Chitral via PIA. A formal written agreement has been signed between the local management of PIA and the President of Chitral Hotels Association, ensuring the success of this initiative.
PIA operates bi-weekly flights to Chitral on Saturdays and Tuesdays, providing easy access to the region’s natural beauty, cultural heritage and adventure tourism opportunities. The flight departs from Islamabad at 2 PM while the flight from Chitral to Islamabad departs at 3:40 PM.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated PIA’s efforts in promoting tourism in Chitral and announced that the district administration would extend all possible support to the airline to ensure the success of the initiative. “We are happy to announce this new initiative, which will boost tourism and economic development in Chitral,” said Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral Muhammad Imran Khan.
The concession offer is expected to attract a large number of tourists to Chitral, boosting tourism and economic activities in the region. The management of the national airline appreciates the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Chitral and expresses its sincere gratitude.
