Demise of the father of business magnate Anwar Aman attracts wide-range condolences in Chitral
CHITRAL: Dostaman Aman, the father of the business tycoon based in the United States rising to the summit of prominence in his native town in Chitral, Pakistan was laid to rest here who had breathed his last at 100 in Islamabad the other day. People from all walks of life thronged the community place in Dolomutz Township to condole the demise of the father of the young man Aman Aman who has to his credit of achieving marvelous accomplishment of establishing a business empire in the land of Yankees. Most of the people of Chitral wanted to have a glimpse of the person who started life from a meek position but his fame and affluence knew no bounds during a short span of quarter-century. Someone has truly called America, ‘the land of opportunity’ and this came more than true in the case of Anwar.
At the zenith of his prosperity in America, he did not forget his home district situated in the other hemisphere where his late father Dostaman did a small-scale grocery shop for supporting his small family in a small muddy shop in Chitral Bazaar. Anwar Aman became a household name some years ago only when he ventured to construct a five-star hotel in Chitral to boost tourism here that had retarded after 9/11. His idea of selecting name for the hotel lured the people and won admirations for him who had decided to perpetuate the name of his later mother BeJaan who had departed long ago. The presence of his father Dostaman Aman in the event of ground-breaking ceremony of the project also caught the attention of the participants who radiated affection, commitment and determination from each word of his short speech.
Anwar is inspired by his great father who had no sprawling business and no far-and-wide exposure but commanded a high esteem and respect in his concentric circles and he did had ‘acumen’ which he imparted to Anwar.

His legacy of kindness, empathy, and service will forever shine in our hearts and in the community he so dearly loved.
