PESHAWAR: The chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved appointment of 1299 Medical Officers (MOs) in the health department on emergency basis to deal with the Corona patients. The Chief Minister has signed a summary moved by health Department to this effect. The newly appointed MOs will resume their duties next week and be posted in different health service delivery outlets across the province.

In a statement issued here, Chief minister Mahmood khan has vowed to further strengthen the health service deliver system on war footings to enable it successfully deal with the emerging situation of Covid-19 stating that all the resources in hand will be utilized to this end. He said that the provincial was extremely seroius in its efforts to effectively deal with situation and urged upon the general public to realize the gravity of the situation and behave in a responsible manner so that the government’s effort yield fruitful results and the possible outbreak of Corona at mass scale could be avoided.
