A thorough gentleman, Subedar Noor Hussain left this world
I am deeply grieved on the sad demise of respected Subedar Noor Hussain of Romandur Charun. May Allah Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Subedar Noor Hussain belonged to an old and famous dynasty of Khoshahmaday tribe of Chitral. He served Chitral Scouts and always remained in prominent positions. After retirement from Chitral scouts he continued his social services and always proved to be a cooperative hand of administration and development agencies.
He was a prominent leader and an active social worker. He was a best volunteer and contributed to the development work within the region and supported many initiatives and extended his support to non-governmental developmental agencies. Whenever he came down to Chitral town, he used to meet me and discuss various problems of the people of Upper Chitral. He was a friend of all and enemy to none.
His demise has left a vacuum that cannot be filled easily. He left behind three daughters, two brothers namely subedar Muhammad Hashim Khan and Chief Officer Rehmat Ghazi Khan. They are also prominent figures in society.
