Calling the Danish School a special gift from the federal government to the people of Chitral, the Prime Minister said that such a high-standard educational institution was once only a dream for local residents, which has now become a reality. He noted that since assuming office, his focus has been to direct federal resources toward remote regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir to bring them at par with Punjab and Sindh.

The Prime Minister stated that the quality of Danish Schools would be comparable to that of Aitchison College, offering free education, boarding, and lodging facilities. He emphasized that even children from poor and orphaned backgrounds would now have access to the same level of education as those from elite institutions. He announced that construction work on the Danish School building would begin in December this year and would be completed within one year.

Shehbaz Sharif also highlighted the success of the federal government’s laptop distribution scheme, which has benefited hundreds of thousands of students across the country. He further announced several development projects for Chitral, including the establishment of a university and a state-of-the-art hospital in Upper Chitral, as well as the completion of the 153-kilometer Chitral–Shandur Road by December 2026.
