CHITRAL: A young boy of 19 years recorded a video message before committing suicide in Brok village of Laspur valley in which he stated the reason of his act as his inability to continue his education beyond F.A. and this made him so dejected that he is going to end his life.
District police officer Mansoor Aman while talking to Chitral Times identified the boy as Muhammad Hussain son of Zamarud Khan who fired at himself with automatic gun and died on the spot.
The post mortem examination of the body will be carried out on Thursday before the dead body is handed over to the parents for burial.
The DPO said that in yet another incident of suicide on the day, a teen ager girl committed suicide by jumping in to the river at Booni whose dead body was retrieved from river.
He identified the girl as Tayyiba daughter of Syedul Ghafar of Booni village who had left her home four days ago when her step-mother allegedly subjected her to mistreatment.
He said that on the report of her father on missing of her missing four days ago, she was found living in another village Kuragh in the house of one of her school teachers and was returned to her father.
On Wednesday morning, she reportedly jumped into the river and committed suicide, he said adding that after carrying out postmortem examination of her body it will be established if she was subjected to any kind of torture before suicide.
He said that this was the third incident of suicide during the current week while two days earlier, a married woman in Sufaid Arkari had committed suicide by hanging herself to death in her kitchen over domestic bickering.
