    NAB handover properties worth Rs. 1.1117 Billion to Govt. of KP, NHA and Pakistan Post

    PESHAWAR: NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today handed over properties worth Rs. 1.117 Billion to Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, NHA and Pakistan Post recovered in 5 cases.

    As per details, NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa started year 2022 with Anti-Corruption Awareness walk which was followed by best officers awards distribution ceremony and handing over of recovered properties to the concerned departments. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  Mr. Shah Farman was the chief guest on the occasion. Brigadier (R) Farooq Naser Awan (SIM) apprised him of the performance of NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

    He informed the audience that NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 100% disposal rate of the complaints. He also highlighted that since inception NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has completed 1940 inquiries and filed 371 references in Accountability Courts. So far aprox Rs.15 billion has been recovered by NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. NAB has a conviction rate of 57% which is highest among all anti-corruption agencies of Pakistan. Mr. Shah Farman, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appreciated the performance of NAB. He highlighted the importance of awareness against corruption in general masses so that mindset could be changed.

    Mr. Habib ur Rehman Addl Director, Mr. Imran Ali Mangrio Addl Director, Mr. Israr Ul Haq Addl Director Staff, Mr. Tariq Babar Deputy Director, Ms. Mehvish Gul Assistant Director, Mr. Ali Hassan Assistant Director, Mr. Rafi Jan Assistant Director, Mr. Uzair Assistant Director were handed over best officers certificates.

     In the end, Chief Guest handed over properties worth Rs. 723 Million to Addl Secretary Finance, Properties worth Rs. 212 Million were handed over to Member NHA and properties worth Rs. 180 Million to DG Pakistan Post.
