PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan has termed the public gathering of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in Swat as a complete flopped show and said that the people of Swat turned a deaf ear to PDM call for the gathering which clearly reflects their confidence in the policies of the incumbent government. He added that lack of public interest in the jalsa was a clear message for PDM that people of Swat as well as the entire province have oughtrighly rejected its unjust move against the government. In a statement issued here to this effect, the Chief Minister said that worst political opponents of the past who always blamed each other for plundering the resources of the country, have now united together just to save their country and rutless accountability being carried by the incumbent government.
Mahmood Khan stated that people of the province rejected PDM this time as well as it was rejected during its first phase of anti government move adding that PDM has met its fate much earlier when two of its major parties parted their ways.
The Chief Minister said that PDM was an alliance of failed, rejected and corrupt political people who were trying to malign the government to avoid ruthles accountability but it shoud be clear to all of them that accountability across the board will continue as it was on top of the agenda of cgovernment and vision of Prime Minister Imran khan adding that everyone will be taken to task for plundering the resources of the country.
Mahmood Khan further said that people of the province as well as the country straight away rejected all these political entities as they, turn by turn, ruled this country for about seven decades but did nothing for the well being of the masses, and as such people reposed their full confidence in Pakistan Tehrik-e Insaf in the last general election and they will do the same in the next general elections because Pakistan Tehrik-e Insaf and Prime Minister Imran khan is the only ray of hope for this nation who could steer the nation out of crisis and make it a great nation.
The Chief Minister condemned the organisers of Swat Jalsa for using the minor students of Mardassas for their political show after the non-participation of public and termed it as a shamful act on their part.
