CHITRAL: Rallies were taken out from different villages of Drosh, Booni, Garam Chashma, Mastuj and Warijun to express solidarity with the armed forces and condemn the Indian aggression here after Friday’s congregational prayers.
In Chitral city, the processions taken out from different mosques after Friday prayers converged at Atalique chowk which was addressed by district nazim Maghfirat Shah, MPA Maulana Hedayatur Rahman and representatives of civil society including Abdul Latif, Shabbir Ahmed, Sabir Ahmed, Qari Jamal Abdul Nasir, Qazi Naseem and others.
They asked the Indian rulers not to repeat the blunder of perpetrating aggression against Pakistan as the nation was fully united and the armed forces had the capability to repulse any attack against the country and inflict a heavy loss on the enemy.
On this occasion, the head of a religious seminary, Maulana Israruddin Al-Hilal announced a prize of Chitrali chugha (cloak) and cap to the pilot of PAF who had shot down the Indian warplane the other day.
