CHITRAL: Anti poli campaign concluded here on Thursday which continued four days in all the twenty four union councils of the district simultaneously while no case of refusal was reported from any part of the district as usual.
District coordinator of EPI, Dr. Fayaz Roomi told Chitral Times that 550 mobile teams had been constituted to reach the 71446 target children below five years while 117 area monitors had been deployed to monitor them who were further monitored by twenty monitoring officers on union council levels.
He said that nine transit points had been established in the bus stands and airport to vaccinate the children of target group while in thirty six fixed centre across the district, polio drops were administered.
He said that a catch up day will be observed on Thursday for those children who had been missed during the four days.
