CHITRAL: The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of closure of Lawari Tunnel.
The notice was taken on an application of residents of Chhitral that the tunnel has been completed but still most of the time it is kept closed and opened for only few hours, that not only causes traffic jam but also creates troubles for locals.
Taking notice of the issue, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan has sought report from Secretary, Communication, Chief Secretary, Government of KPK and Chairman National Highways Authority, within five days.
