CHITRAL: A young girl of 23 years committed suicide in Kari village situated in outskirt of Chitral city on Chitral-Booni road here on Thursday by consuming poison.
An official of Chitral police station identified her as Parwaz Bibi while the reason of suicide is said to be domestic bickering with her in-laws but the police has started inquiry under section 174 of CrPC to ascertain the real cause of death.
The villagers said that the deceased had been married seven years ago in a village in Punjab but she obtained divorce from her husband and came back to the village with her one-year old son who has now grown to six years.
