Online open court launched for speedy resolutions of people problems: CM
PESHAWAR (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi here Wednesday said that online open court (public hearing) has been launched for resolution of masses problems swiftly.
Addressing KP cabinet meeting here, he said one session of online court has already been completed.
The Chief Minister directed all secretaries, ministers, director generals, and district administrations to hold weekly open courts.
He said at least one online open court per week will be mandatory at the provincial level.
The online open court is an effective means of reducing the gap between the public and the government, said Sohail Afridi.
Due to lack of resources or access, he said citizens will now be able to convey their voices to authorities from their homes.
“Resolving public issues from home through open courts is the government’s top priority,” said Sohail Afridi.
He said instructions were given to complete the ADP 2026–27 by February 15 and hoped that the work has been completed.
Briefings on ADP 2026–27 will begin this month, said Sohail Afridi and expressed displeasure over the slow pace of work on ADP 2025–26.
The Chief Minister directed that all projects under ADP 2025–26 be put on the fast track within this month.
He said all necessary requirements for development projects should be completed immediately so that the public can begin receiving relief.
The benefits of development projects should start reaching the public from next month.
He said ambiguity regarding PTI founder’s health may be removed and criticized what he claimed police violence against PTI’s elected representatives in Karachi.
